In Canada the certification letters decide what you are legally allowed to do with the home. CSA A277 covers factory-built dwellings on foundations; Z240 MH is a manufactured home usable as a permanent secondary dwelling; Z240 RV and Z241 (park model) are recreational — Alberta and Quebec will not accept a Z240 RV unit as a permanent residence. Match the standard to the use before you look at price.
